This Privacy Policy explains how RenewEQ, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as ClaimThisHome.com (“ClaimThisHome,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), collects, uses, and shares information through the ClaimThisHome mobile application for iOS and Android (the “App”). It applies to the App and to the services you access through it. Our website is covered by our website Privacy Policy. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
When you create an account and use the App, you may provide:
• Contact and identity details: your name, email address, mobile phone number, and mailing or property address.
• Government-issued identification: an image of your driver’s license or other government ID that you upload for identity verification.
• Co-buyer information: the name, email, and phone number of any co-buyer you choose to add to a purchase.
• Documents and e-signatures: documents you upload and information related to documents you electronically sign (for example, contracts for deed and disclosures) through our e-signature provider.
• Payment information: details needed to make a deposit or payment, which you enter with, and which are processed by, our third-party payment providers (see Section 5).
• Communications: messages you send us in the App, and information in your inquiries, showing requests, and support requests.
When you use the App, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
• App activity: homes you save, showings you request, searches you run, properties and screens you view, and other in-app interactions.
• Device and technical information: device type and settings, operating system, app version, IP address, and general diagnostic or crash information used to keep the App working.
• Identifiers for notifications: a push-notification token so we can send you alerts about your account, showings, payments, and documents.
The App may ask for the following device permissions to provide its features. You can grant or revoke them in your device settings:
• Camera and photos — to take or upload a photo of your driver’s license and other documents.
• Notifications — to send push notifications about your transaction.
We use your information to: create and manage your account; verify your identity; show and let you search available homes; schedule and confirm showings and specialist calls; process deposits and payments; prepare, deliver, and record electronically signed documents; add co-buyers you invite; send account, transaction, and service messages by in-app message, email, push notification, and SMS; provide customer support; keep the App secure and prevent fraud; and comply with our legal obligations.
Deposits and payments you make in the App are processed by third-party payment providers, which may include Stripe and Cash App (Block, Inc.). You enter your card, bank, or account details directly with the applicable provider, and we do not store your full card or bank account numbers. We receive limited information such as the amount, status, and a transaction reference so we can track your transaction. Each provider handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only as follows:
• Service providers who process information on our behalf, including payment processors (such as Stripe and Cash App), our e-signature provider (such as DocuSign), cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, communication and SMS delivery providers, and analytics or crash-diagnostic providers.
• Push-notification and platform services operated by Apple and Google, which deliver notifications and distribute the App.
• Legal and safety purposes: to comply with law, court orders, or government requests; to enforce our agreements; and to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers are used only for the purposes you consented to and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App and complete your transaction, and afterward as required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may access, correct, or update your account information in the App, or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP (or reply HELP for help), manage push notifications in your device settings, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. To exercise a privacy right, contact us at servicing@claimthishome.com.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing servicing@claimthishome.com with the subject “Delete my account,” or through the account settings in the App where available. We will delete or de-identify your personal information, except information we are required or permitted to retain by law (for example, records relating to completed real-estate transactions, payments, and signed documents).
The App is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The App relies on third-party services (such as payment processors, the e-signature provider, mapping providers, and the app stores) that have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted at https://www.claimthishome.com/app-privacy or otherwise made available through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.
